Hooray! This is the best time of summer. Kids are having holidays, the day is long, and everyone is happy!

Our childhood story

One thing from the recommendation list especially caught my attention, and that is the watermelon.

When we were young (and poor), we used to play the watermelon game as college students. The game was like this — we needed to try our best to crack the watermelon using only our upper bodies, including, but not limited to, our heads, hands, wrists, and arms. Whichever team broke the watermelon first was the winner.

This super fun game was always able to make everyone happy, and the juice from the watermelon was such a treat during the hot and humid summers in Asia.

Now that we are older and no longer able to crack the watermelon with bare hands, having a watermelon for a picnic is still such a good idea.
